Mrs. Claus has been busy making a new type of candy cane for everyone to enjoy with a large ice cold glass of milk.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 Cup • icing sugar, Confectioner's
- 1 egg large
- 1 Tsp Almond Flavoring
- 1 Tsp vanilla Flavoring
- 1/4 Tsp Peppermint Flavoring
- 2 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
- 1 Tsp baking powder
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Red Food Coloring

Instructions
- Mix first six ingredients together well. Add flour ,baking powder and salt . mix well
- Divide dough into 2 equal portion. Add food coloring into one . Blend well . Roll 1 Tsp of each color dough into ropes about 5 1/2 inches long .
- Lay them side by side. Pinch ends together.. Twist to form a spiral . Lay on un-greased baking sheet . Shape to form a cane.
- Bake in 350 F oven for about 10 minutes until pale golden . cool on sheet for 3 minutes then remove
